On the other hand, Cha Am is very quiet, but every guest visiting this area must visit the Wednesday Night Market at Cha Am which is all about experiencing the local food and great atmosphere to understand Thai way of local shopping. This market is opened every Wednesday night from 5pm till 11pm and it’s near the train station. Cha Am is also popular for the beach front seafood restaurant to enjoy fresh seafood and local curries. Also a small walk on the beach to relax and get back to nature. Bunty Mulajker, Guest Journey Ambassador at Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort and Spa

Finally, this means it will benefit the local traders in making a better lifestyle for them and for their children future. The future of these twin cities Hua Hin and Cha Am looks bright with more tourist coming in once we start the Hua Hin airport.

As per the information till date flights will fly direct to Kuala Lumpur from Hua Hin and if all looks good then we will have more international flights flying in and out of Hua Hin in near future. This means more tourist and more revenue from tourism.

Every Hotel should have a “Bunty” from Tripadvisor

Review of Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort and Spa

Every hotel should have a “Bunty” so that guests can take advantage of what the hotel and the local area have to offer

We had a room on the end of our floor which had a great view of the sea and of the hills behind the hotel. We were here for a week and loved our time here. The hotel guest relations manager circulated around the guests every day to make sure that we knew what was going on and to make sure we had everything that we needed. Bunty even organised a trip to the local markets and gave us a free guided tour. Every hotel should have a “Bunty” so that guests can take advantage of what the hotel and the local area have to offer. The hotel rooms are large and the bathrooms are also a good size and are functional. The internet is reasonably fast and was very reliable and available all throughout the resort.

The pool was excellent and there seemed to be plenty of sun lounges even on the busiest days. The room was well cleaned and we loved the option to take a credit for bypassing house keeping some days. Breakfast was reasonable for a large hotel and bar and dinner prices were reasonable. This area is quite remote which we liked but there are still a few restaurants outside the hotel which were quite good or Bunty will organise transport to downtown Hua Hin or Cha Am beach if required. There is a laundry service just outside the hotel for cheap and reasonable quality laundry service.

There are not many areas that require improvement but if I have to choose one then it would be breakfast. It was a bit of a free for all but you tend to find this more and more these days in Asia as more mainland Chinese become tourists. That is not an insult to Chinese tourists it is just a different cultural approach to eating at a buffet. My tip… join Accor Plus and purchase a room that gives you access to the Club Lounge.

The lounge is very nice, very quiet and has a great view out to sea. We usually don’t use hotel massage and Spa services but we did here at the Novotel and they were wonderful and reasonably priced. We also used our Green Room credits to pay for a great sports massage. In summary, I think that Bunty made all the difference to our stay. Every hotel should have a Bunty.

Room Tip: If you don’t qualify for a room on the Premier Floor then try to get a room on either end of the building. All rooms have a sea view.
Stayed: October 2017, traveled as a couple
