An elevated walkway over Narathiwas – Sathorn (Narathorn) Intersection, connects BTS Chong Nonsi Station with BRT Sathorn Station and a few buildings along the way. Among one of them, the King Power Mahanakhon Tower was the tallest building in Bangkok (2016), and the world’s largest Glass Tray at 310 meters above ground! Narathorn Skywalk can be easily reached by BTS Skytrain Silom Line, from Siam Station to Chong Nonsi Station. A five-minute trip costs only 25 baht (0.80 USD).

UNIQUE BRIDGE IN BANGKOK THAILAND | Chong Nonsi Pedestrian Bridge

This is one unique bridge in Bangkok, Thailand. It is known as the Chong Nonsi pedestrian bridge, in Bangkok Thailand.

The bridge is located in the heart of the business district in Bangkok, Thailand. In between Silom & Sathon on the intersection of N Sathon Rd and Naradhiwat Rajanagarindra Rd. It is right next to the Bangkok glass skywalk, you give it a visit when you are there.

In the Silom area of Bangkok stands a Hindu temple built in the South Indian style – full of colour, basking in the sweet smell of incense and accompanied by devotional music. In the streets surrounding the temple you can buy Indian food, Hindu statues and various offerings to be used in the temple. I was lucky to visit during a day that a parade and dancing was taking place outside.

Many Thai’s regard Hinduism as an offshoot of Buddhism and enthusiastically worship lord Siva, Vishnu, Durga, Ganesha and Brahma Silom road beside this Sathorn has a Hindu temple knowns Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, also known as Maha Uma Devi temple, typically in spoken Thai language the temple is called as Wat Khaek.

WHERE LOCAL THAI OFFICE WORKERS EAT | Sathon Business District

This is where the local Thai office workers eat. Sathon is the heart of Bangkok’s Business district, in Bangkok, Thailand. I happened to be around the area around lunchtime that day, and I wondered where all the local office workers go to eat at lunch. So I decide to follow the crowd and discovered this little food area. It just seems like it in a walkway between to work buildings.

Not only do they have food, but they also have clothing and other accessories. For those who want to do a bit of shopping. There is also a canteen behind the food vendors, but I was not allowed to film in there. But they also have cheap food in there and seating areas for you. That’s for those who want to sit in an air con building and enjoy their meal. Otherwise, you can get something outside and get going.

BANGKOK’S NEW GLASS SKYWALK – BEST SKYWALK IN BANGKOK | Mahanakhon Glass Skywalk

This is Bangkok’s new glass skywalk, the best skywalk in Bangkok. The best ‘glass’ skywalk in Bangkok, I should say. All thanks to King Power Mahanakhon Observatory.

This incredible glass skywalk is one of the largest glass trays in the world and is located on level 78 at the King Power Mahanakhon building. The building which I call, the ‘pixel building’, because it looks like a pixel and it’s a building….. In my opinion, this is the best sky-walk in Bangkok by far, even better than Baiyoke Sky Tower.

This skywalk is opened aired and has an incredible 360 degree panoramic view of all of Bangkok City. Level 78 also has a bar, where you can enjoy a drink while you enjoy the breathtaking views of the Bangkok Skyline. The peak of the deck sits at 314 meters high.

And let’s not forget what we all came here for…the glass tray. If you have the guts to step foot on one of the worlds largest glass tray floors, you will be rewarded with a clear view of traffic and Bangkok life passing you by down below. This is an incredible experience, and I would highly recommend that you come here if you can afford it. Level 74 is an indoor observatory. The best, being level 78 is the glass Sky Deck, it has the GLASS TRAY FLOOR, ROOFTOP BAR & SPECTACULAR 314 METER PEAK.

BANGKOK’S OLD FIRE STATION | Bang Rak Fire Station (The Old Customs House)

This is an old fire station in Bangkok’s Bang Rak district. It used to be Bangkok’s Old Customs House. Until it turned into a fire station, which has now been abandoned. Many people would come to this old fire station to take wedding photos or just photos in general, due to the old picturesque looking building, inside and out. But as you can see they have now barricaded all the entrances to the building as it has become a dangerous hazard for people to go inside. As everything is deteriorating.

It’s a shame though, cause inside looks just as amazing as the outside, if not better. You can find pictures of the inside of the first station on the internet. Just google Bang Rak Fire Station and there should be plenty of photos that people have taken inside before they banned people from entering the fire station. But it’s still great to have a walk around the outside of this building and marvel at what’s left.
